The sun was blotted out, only for a few minutes, thunder clouds roiling in the distance- closing in fast. Way too fast. A bolt surged. It struck, the nesting grounds exploded, electricity popping and the lights whirred several times before ceasing. A flicker. Two. Then darkness to match the minutes of darkness enshrouding sornieth.

Finally, after several breathless minutes and many scrambling dergs, the sun peeked out. Light streamed across the blackened earth, enlightening the frightened parents. All nests seemed clear, everyone scrambled to check their eggs and young. All were well.... Except one best, Which was struck head on. The shells were black and charred, some still aflame.

Miraculously. The hatchlings survived. But what would come of them? What effects would a direct strike cause?




Estrella has an affinity for divination, much like other's at Obsidian Hollow. Her near death experience allows her to better access the other side, she is skilled at astral travel and energy manipulation as well.
