Biography
He was brought into the camp as a newborn. He came from a kind nature clan who wanted to help with the cause, thinking the hatchling would provide some extra claws. He later moved to a new clan, where he now lives, to help a fellow grumpy medic with a sudden increase in population.
~~~
Hydrangea was a bit of a stubborn child and preferred to do things his own way, not to mention a bit of a grump right from day one. He is a kind dragon at heart though, just a bit snappish towards others, especially when they're around his more favorite and prized possessions, even more so around his flowers. He's a bit possessive of his things. Hydrangea also happens to be a second medic/healer of the clan, as he has had experience with training another dragon named Marble.
~~~
Hydrangea needed another assistant for when his apprentice was gone. That ended up with him going to the auction house to buy the longneck mender. The longneck helps with collecting herbs, berries, and other medical supplies, as well as tending to any dragons or familiars that Hydrangea can't.
~~~
He spent a lot of his time teaching Marble to become another medic, Hydrangea can't do everything by himself after all. He'll never admit it, but he really did enjoy the young Spiral's company, growing bored when he isn't around being nosy and curious as usual.
But, that started to change when Pie began talking to him. He is one of the few dragons allowed to be in Pie's company. He just let's her be and do her own thing. If anything, he's a good listener to her, which she very much appreciates.
In the beginning, the Fae only annoyed him with her quiet disposition and occasional complaining about Marble. But a routine was born, him listening to her vent every other day or so, which really helped Pie, and him grumbling about all his regular patients. Soon enough, they found themselves with an egg, later to reveal their daughter Fisher.
Today, the three live in separate clans, but still keep in touch as families do. Hydrangea aids Blodsten in his work, but is not seen as an apprentice. Rather, a co-worker with equal skill.
~~~
Named after the flower for his colors, Hydrangeas happen to be his favorite flower; he has some growing in and around his home, a hobby he accumulated as a child. He also tends to the gardens and farm just outside the clan living grounds. His favorite past time is going to gather more herbs and water to store for later use, which helps Blodsten greatly. His job never seems to be done as the newer hatchlings often get hurt. Even some of the older dragons are regulars for him.
