Soft is the boy born from flowers, from wishes of a god of farewells, the god of flowers, and his protective lover. The sun and moon knowing how it is to yearn for something for so long and to finally get it- they send a piece of themselves down. Both daylight and moonlight amalgamated into a boy born in a field of flowers, his family awaiting him somewhere in the same garden he calls his home.

There was never a god of children proper- it's not a concept or a thing that needed a god, as the idea of child was flexible and something that changed- the first child has changed to become something else, no matter how much the parents disagree. So when he was born, his core was slightly odd- it was ties to himself rather than the whole concept, though it definitely has ties.
One may even say he's not the god of children proper either, he's also known as the protector of children. He's often seen with a miniature version of Min (Jihoon's sword) that Jihoon crafted for Minji to use. This sword is one for punishing the parents who have done their children wrong. He's also often seen with tons of children with him, who he took away from unworthy parents to raise by himself. Minji tends to thhe nesting grounds of each garden for the few gods that do have children.
