______ When Eclipse hatched, his sun had been hatched facing the sky. The clan had found the ice egg the day of a solar eclipse. The egg was set off to the side as the clan panicked that the Shade was eating the sun. As a result, he was looking directly at the sun when he hatched.

______ As a result, the hatchling was blinded completely in one eye, and half-blind in the other, only able to distinguish color and incredibly blurry shapes (This) in that eye. The hatchling cowered in his shell until the hatchling caretaker, Sapphire, found him. He took him to every medic he could find after seeing his eyes having been burned. His condition seemed incurable.

______ As he grew older, the new dragon named Eclipse found himself drawn to study space as a arcane dragon would. He saw his blindness as a terrible setback and is very sensitive about it. He studies space and is the only astronomer in the clan. He clings to Sapphire like a father and son. He often runs into walls and other dragons all too frequently. he does, however, have a strong sense of taste, smell, touch (although the pain is practically doubled when he hits something), and hearing.
