B I O G R A P H Y
It's not entirely clear what brought Somnus to the Clan Misfortune, but here he is nonetheless. Somnus is an old dragon, with many notable eccentricities, but he is gentle, and always willing to help. Since joining the clan it became clear to Deazal and his inner circle that Somnus was exceptionally skilled at easing the minds of the other clan members, either from simple stresses, or much more serious problems. Somnus also seemed to hold some abilities to aid those with troubled dreams, and as a result of these talents, Somnus has become one of the clan healers, his particular area of expertise being the ails and injuries afflicting the minds of his clanmates. Somnus is an often quiet dragon, but he is not hard to be around. Though he can be an eccentric sort wiht many odd tendencies, none of them are off putting and he has even been said to be able to sooth others trouble merely by being in their company. He is calm, amiable, and always willing to listen to the troubles of others. He has a strange outlook on life and a notable interest in dreams, he can be somewhat whimsical and often finds himself lost in his own thoughts. Somnus has an interest and appreciation for creatures that hold some place or power in the subconcious and dreams, but his most notable helper is a spellbound golem. Many believe Somnus himself created this creature, but it is unclear where it originitated. Somnus has named it Galdur, and it seems to possess much of the same appreciation for Somnus as Somnus does of it. |
