Sykstus, former High Duke

Initially furious at being sold and bought into a new clan, Sykstus had a hard time trying to accept others as denmates, let alone co-members of one clan. He especially hated two new Hatchlings, and feared the day the evil spawn of Lustrzana will hatch. Being older and bigger than Chrobry, he constantly tests Guardian's leadership. Usually isolated and coming from the lineage of pure Bogsneaks, he did not except to fall so quickly for a new female, stunning and chaotic Jupiter.

They bonded over the unfamiliarity of the new clan, and quickly produced a pair of beautiful, healthy eggs. Soon after his mate suddenly got crazy, snarling and clawing her way out of the den with their eggs and for the first time, Sykstus felt a connection to his denmates, as the three of them blocked the entrance. After the trick Lustrzana used, Sykstus begrudgingly accepted her and Chrobry's egg in one nest with HIS offsprings, if it meant to keep Jupiter in one place, happy and sane.

His long-lasting grudge with Chrobry only got fueled when he assigned him as the babysitter for Szafir and Riana. What little satisfaction he took from nesting two eggs instead of Chrobry's one, quickly evaporated when the skydancer began to test his patience and sanity on a daily basic.

Soon enough the little spawn of Chrobry hatched, turning out to be a crazy little tornado (if someone asked him). The Guardian got fixated on little girl, comically trotting around, causing Sykstus to laugh hysterically, while Jupiter looked at him unamused. That caused Chrobry to drop the baby next to him, and while she was a handful, she was also so small and vulnerable that Sykstus started wondering about his own two eggs. He was more than happy when Lustrzana took Zofia away.

He also hoped that Szafir would finally grow up enough mentally to take his role as the babysitter forever, but the Tundra seemed so hopeless and a little bit afraid of Zofia, that it was very unlikely. Well, he can't say that boy doesn't have an instinct anymore.

The arrival of his two daughters struck him like a lightning. He was initially dissapointed that they are not sons and seem to cling to him everytime he appears within their sights. Despite Jupiter's disapproval he usually stayed in the shadows, waiting for his daughters to grow up before he would bond with them.
