Athena

Athena is the eldest heir from the tribe Iglesia. Thus, it is her duty to oversee that all three tribes are maintaining peace. From a young age she knew this was her duty, and it was ingrained in her that if she fails it could cost them all their island and way of life.

Knowing this, she marries Zeus from Skia despite her love being Apollo. After all, it is her duty. However, one day, Zeus mysteriously disappears. From a political standpoint, Athena is enraged. This union was supposed to ensure that the prophecy would be fulfilled, that the tribes would be united into one clan. From an emotional standpoint, however, she feels freed. As if like Zeus she can escape the pressures that have been placed. She can be with Apollo, and forget about the conflicts of her land.

After Zeus disappears, Athena feels betrayed. Sarsany started questioning her power, and rumor of a rebellion has spread. She falls on Apollo, her closest friend, for support, but when they have children together the island goes crazy.

Overall, Athena is responsible and orderly. She does what she must to benefit the clan first, and herself second. Regardless, she still has a dreamy air to her, and is seen as quite the romantic. Maybe one day she please both her political responsibilities and her heart’s desires.
