laid-back matron


The matron and founder of the clan at Stoneroot Hollow, Bryony is far more laid back than you might expect from her position. The truth is, the clan pretty much runs itself without her--though she'd never say as much to the ambassadors who come knocking on her door. The community at Stoneroot Hollow is more a scattered village than a tight-knit family or military outfit, which means that Bryony's role as matron is mostly for show.

Bryony is shrewd and sharp-witted, but she'd much rather be enjoying a spa day at the Gladeveins than concocting schemes. A dragonet ought to enjoy the finer things in life, and as clan matron she's surely earned them, hasn't she? Of course! So it's hardly anyone's business if she spends most of her time relaxing under the shade of the banyans, eating fresh fruit, and painting her claws while she chats with guests. Getting to know one's neighbors and allies is very important for a clan leader, you know. And gossip is just political reconnaissance under another name!
