Candlejane

A traveler and a trickster figure, the Green-Eyed Shadow, the Mist Crone, Damsel of the Black Hole Dance, or "Candlejane" as she has taken to calling herself. She bears little to no loyalty to the Windsinger, only in his domain because she shares his element and his charisma; while she holds admiration and thankfulness for the supposed god of her clan, her true loyalties lie far from this world; on the clearest nights, she can be found perched atop the tallest branches of her territory, no matter how precarious, begging to the stars above for her true form back.

Sealed, or so she claims, in the form of a weak and unassuming fae dragon, Candlejane claims she once had far greater glory and renown. She scoffs at the shadow-manipulating powers the Shadowbinder wields, claiming her own were more impressive and practical, and that she would "love to give her some pointers, if she'd listen for once". She speaks of the Arcanist and Plaguebringer as though they reminded her ever so vaguely of old lost friends. She considers the Windsinger to have goals most similar to her own among the Eleven; though she acts evasively when asked what sort of story she means for her clan to pass down, she does intend to make some tales told.

Much like the Windsinger and his children, Candlejane loves to speak and socialize, eager to attempt to convince dragons to join her clan, other clans-- be they able to find her domain in the first place-- to ally with her, and her own clan to further her ever-mysterious cause. She claims to be well-traveled, as well, and speaks of the climates and views of planets even the Arcanist has yet to find. Aligning herself with the Windsinger after her initial manifestation, she knows that eventually, for better or worse, the same winds that brought her down to the planet will sweep her to the domains of the rest of the Eleven-- and not all are as sociable...
