Umbra

Born from parents that greatly disliked each other, Umbra grew up with a warped personality. He takes great pleasure in making other dragons uncomfortable and frightening hatchlings. He has a tendency to mumble to himself with intermittent bouts of strange laughter. If he is in a particularly foul mood he will wildly chase after any dragon that crosses his path. These behaviors have caused him to be pushed to the outskirts of the lair. However, this doesn't mean that Umbra is without his merits.

Though Umbra is well known to have his eccentricities he has become an integral part of the lair's community. He is the best herbal healer in the lair. Dragons who are in dire need of healing usually find themselves on one of his healing beds. It is at this point another side of Umbra is seen. He becomes serious and even-tempered, focusing on what is needed and how best to mix and administer it. In fact it was in this state that he first met his partner Luminance.

After meeting Luminance, who decided to help him with his work and research, Umbra's main personality had a slight shift. He became a little more tolerant of other dragons, making it a tiny bit easier for others to approach him for help. After a while Luminance brought home a hatchling, YoukaiRyuu, and they raised him together.
