Under a writhing, dying tree hatched a dragonling with shimmering wings, a great contrast to the deep, dark shadows that covered him. Visible even when he was hiding, in order to get around his shadow clan's territory Inez had to learn how to fold his wings fully and use only his coat coloring early. Mocked for having no runes, no shimmering liquid in his stomach, no gemstones and no ghostly patterns, he was always shoved aside.

Despite this, some unexplainable optimism seemed to always grow in his chest. At night he dreamed of becoming a brave and strong soldier and whenever he had time between finding his food, he'd scavenge and collect snapped arrows and broken swords. When the three factions of his old clan drove eachother into a heated fight, he ran away, right to the border of the domain of the Shadowbinder.

Luckily for him, when arriving at the border he found a group of travelling ice dragons that recognized his will to survive and dreams to fight. They let him come with back to the domain of the Icewarden. Grasping oppertunity after oppertunity, developing a great fascination of archery, he worked his way upwards over a hundred years to become Archerlead under the reign of the Icewarden. Despite his position, he never quite lost his lightweight humor, relying on his positivity to bring him through whatever tough times may come.
