Mafrea comes from the clan Haja Dhan'ya, a clan deeply loyal to the Plaguebringer and everything She is and does. They study Her magic and worship Her in all ways. Hatchlings in this clan are rare, and they are treated as very serious gifts. Mafrea is a child of the one of the clan's Hunters and Enforcers, but as soon hatched from his egg, he was studied. First by the clan's Divine Scholar, to study out his talents by the way of science. Then, the High Priestess stepped in to look into her future. Both of their findings were passed on to the Holy Queen who would then decree what he should learn and where.

Finally, it was decided that Mafrea would learn from the Priestesses. This group of dragons practice dangerous, dark magic in the name of serving the Plaguebringer and Her message. These types of magic are frequently untested and unstable, and the caster must have incredible mental and magical fortitude to cast them, as well as unwavering patience, at least when it came to their work. Mafrea tested well in all these things, and was handed over to the Priestesses for training. His mentor was Aslan, a soft spoken Priest he learned well from, although sometimes Mafrea flair for the dramatics clashed with Aslan's desire to keep his head down and work hard. While Mafrea unshakeable work ethic and patience are some of his utmost strengths, like all Priestesses, he lacks the creativity to create his own spells and get himself out of dangerous situations he might find himself in.

Low Potential (2): The High Priestess has looked into the future and sees weakness. This child struggles to connect with their deity, limiting the amount of power and livelihood they will have.
