Vaesna was one of a nest of three. His brother and sister grew around him. The nest was never crowded, but joyful. As the hatchlings grew, their father burrowed to expand the lair further. Now that they were grown, they each had their own small den to call their own. His brother found a mate to share his with, and his sister decorated hers with the herbs she was always learning from. Vaesna was the last to fill his. For now, he was content to weave his baskets, hide away some of his favorite food-plants, and display the trinkets he found along the way.

One of his most precious was the smallest pearl he had ever seen. It was an almost pure white, untarnished except by the earth it was buried in. Brought here by a traveler and used as payment in exchange for some potions, it was said to have come from the Ruins. In a prized spot in his den, the largest sign of innocence of dragonkind was hidden from the rest of the world.

Vaesna is a tundra with the adventuring spirit of a guardian. One of his favorite passtimes is wandering the forest and gardens simply looking at the plants. In an effort to make his ventures fruitful, he began collecting food and medicinal herbs while he was out. He definitely does not have the best grasp on emotions or understanding the finer social cues of other dragons, but he tries his best. He has a heart of gold and is allergic to negativity.
