Picture this: Rotrock Rim, smack dab in the middle of the Plaguelands. Smells worse than a wet tundra that has rolled around in the remains of someone's dinner because they wanted to make friends. Everything is some shade of pulsating pink or rotten brown or oozing green.

And then... there's a spot of faded yellow and the dark coils of some disassembled machine. A Lightning nest, miles and miles away from the desert. It's not the only one, either--there are others nestled up under twisted fungal roots. How they got there is anyone's guess, but the current inhabitants are the nasty kind of dragons that probably make the withered black heart of the Plaguemother beat with pride. But only once.

The denmother of this foul lot is Marrow. It's said she has the power to make anyone and anything do her bidding. Might have something to do with the cute little fungus garden she cultivates. Or it might be the presence of the hulking brute of a Bogsneak she keeps around. Or maybe she just says 'Please' real nicely.

Whatever the case, Marrow's little corner of the Rim is thriving.
