-partial paraplegia and muscle loss in his hind legs, supporting bracers crafted by coatls allow him to walk and stand
-living on the windswept plateau, with so many varying breezes, it makes it easy to glide around whenever walking isn't quick enough
-prefers to keep clean, which can be difficult when your clan lives on a farm
-a tinkerer, often recycling/creating new gadgets and ornaments out of discarded items

"Nacre has partial paraplegia, muscle weakness and degeneration in his hind limbs making him unable to walk. As a hatchling, he learned to use his wings to compensate for his weakening hind limbs, resulting in an interesting hop-like method of movement. However, after leaving the nest he ended up traveling Sornieth, and was given a pair of supporting leg bracers from a kind Fire Flight forge. He now lives on the plateau as well, working as a jeweler/antique tinkerer!

His paraplegia doesn't affect his personality, as he never saw it as a disability. During day to day life it doesn't hinder him too much, as most travel in Wind is done by flying, and moving around his shop is assisted by his bracers (although he still likes to use his wings to walk despite Dr. Vasc's advice). There's not so much prejudice from other flights, at least not as much as Elijah. If anything, Plague dragons respect him for surviving and adapting without his bracers, and visiting Fire dragons enjoy inspecting the work on them." -link
