Hisolda

Hisolda, ancient oracle, stoic and gentle, voice of reason

With all that goes on around her, one might think Hisolda to be a busy and excitable dragon. One would think wrong however, as she tends to look more towards the future and lets things come as they may. Despite being in a shared lair with many boisterous or strange dragons one would find her often meditating on that which she dreams of, deciphering the possible meanings and learning that which will come. When she doesn't meditate, she can often be seen writing down her thoughts or chatting casually with other dragons. She is often somber, but still enjoyable to speak to as she often has good omens to pass on and fun stories to tell. She is most comfortable telling such stories, often that which she has heard from another. Many young hatchling even consider her a living library, as she holds so many fanciful tales a dragon could listen to her every day and never hear another story twice. When bad omens do arise, she speak first to Tzitzimitl, as they share a slight connection through what they see and hear. She never speaks of ill signs until Tzitzimitl has heard them first, as Tzitzimitl is better at breaking such news to others.

Winds shift, slow but listless, bringing change both welcome and not. What will I hear today? Is it the sound of leaves crunching underfoot and burdens fall like leaves in autumn? Perhaps I hear an infant's laughter ringing through halls as love births a new friendship? Oh, but perhaps it is more grave. Perhaps I hear a dancer, bones crackling under bloody feet as they whisper of death and despair. Perhaps I hear the crash of lightning burning a meadow of memories, destroying an alliance? Ah but hear it now, silence. The most foreboding of omens, that which we cannot know. I will have to sit and listen again tomorrow, for it is not in the winds today that I might discern.
