The offspring of Last and Once are known for becoming scholars or researchers due to their love of knowledge. Their wings glow in the afternoon and runes mark spells of love as topazes are known to be a symbol of affection. Writing is something During has always enjoyed. With his father being a scholar, During found his love in not just reading, but writing. He travels across Sornieth writing stories other wish to share with him along with his own accounts. Whether it be a funny story or a death of a friend, he wants others to read his writing and be able to find understanding and empathy. During's runes mention empathy and luck.

Psychi has vague senses that give her a prediction of a future event, usually an hour before it happens. Akali feels pain when someone nearby is going to die within the hour.‹━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━« Between the three seers (and with the much needed help of During’s planning) they can usually sleuth out whatever tragedy is going to strike with moderate accuracy. Getting the gist of it is easy, stopping it is harder. And tempting fate is dangerous. There’s no guarantee that the dragon(s) fated to die won’t be struck down by some other unforeseen disaster even if the first is prevented. And perhaps one day it will be one of them who will take the bullet for denying fate its target. |
