Mahuika

Snapshot: Cunning, cagey, and with a wry sense of humor, Mahuika tends to avoid questions about her past. A talented hunter, with a particularly strong empathic sense, one that can catch the edges of even animal’s emotions, she came from a rather wild clan that had few governing rules.

She tends towards precision edging onto ruthlessness, an attitude that stems from her profession. While her abilities makes her a dangerous hunter, they motivate her to make very clean, very quick, kills. And she does so, expertly.

Background: Having left her clan under distressing circumstances when she sensed some things she most certainly should not have, Mahuika was wary about joining another clan. Nonetheless, living on your own, even as a hunter, can wear on a person. Particularly for social creatures.

Falling in with Indrali was ideal for her. With the sprawled out nature of their territory, centered on the town, giving her plenty of space to avoid being overwhelmed by other’s emotions and yet still coexist with her new clanmates.

Though she’s had some struggles adapting to a more structured clan, she’s set herself to it with dedication.
