Fast and short-tempered for a Coatl, Astrotrain found Sunshot when his clan was just a fledgling idea and not yet a reality in the making. He spends a great deal of time accompanying Barricade and Lightspeed through the volcanic Vents of the Ashfall Wastes.

Astrotrain, while peaceable enough, shares Lockdown's worry that something is wrong with the Beastclans, though not his particular worry over the Serthis.

He found a mate in Barricade and the pair seem to have semi-adopted Lightspeed into their family unit within the clan. Perhaps he knows more of what Sunshot plans for the clan than most, because his children are few and far between - though Maraie and Aleos seem to be sticking around for a while yet.
