Starling

Starling is beautiful and he knows it. However, both his parents were purple/blue/dark colored gemstone Skydancers, so naturally all his siblings looked similar to him. How could such a glorious Skydancer hope to stand out if he stayed with them?

So Starling made the choice to set out from home. The traveling was tough and he got his shimmering stones and feathers quite dirty. You'll never get him to do that again.

Here in Kokiri's clan, he is one of few Skydancers, and none of them have his colors and gemstone combination. He feels that now dragons can appreciate his beauty as an individual. Kokiri lets him go to gatherings and meetings with other clans just so he can show off and boost his ego when he's feeling down. Every once in a while he's bothered by being surrounded by such drab dragons. But he's good at being eloquent, and good at entertaining guests and others. Talking and discussing is one of his skills, since he wouldn't dream of getting dirty with combat or lengthy traveling. It also helps he can perceive others' emotions as a Skydancer, though more often than not he's too self-absorbed to pay attention to that. He's also all about outward appearance, so when the clan needs to set a good first impression with others, he is the go-to dragon.

His first mate was a fling with a Skydancer named Kestrel. He then settled down with one female in the clan, named Swallow. However, after having numerous offspring together, Swallow disappeared. A scout reported last seeing her in the Viridian Labyrinth. After a moment of mourning, Starling returned to constantly shifting through mates.
