Frederica was found as a tiny, sickly hatchling while Amazon and Yewpess were returning from The Shadowbinder's lair. Contrary to what Yewpess says, he was the one to convince Amazon to bring the defenseless fae back to their clan and at least care for her until they could find her parents, or find her someone to be her guardians. After fighting briefly with his fatherly instinct, Amazon agreed, and the two brought Frederica (or Deri, as she would later want to be nicknamed) back home. A few weeks turned into months, and after a while the two dragons agreed that they would just adopt the small fae, who had began to look up to them as her fathers. Rather jokingly, Inari mentioned that she reminded them of a company in his world, and nicknamed her FedEx. Yewpess, angry that Inari would give his daughter a name that would be made fun of like his, named her Frederica. The small fae would eventually demand to tag along on the duo's exalting expeditions, and worked hard to ensure she wouldn't slow them down. After a while, she would join them officially on trips, thus completing the trio. She is incredibly speedy and handy with a bow. Since she's so tiny, Amazon and Yewpess often rely on her small size and speed to scout ahead and even take out any danger that might come for them. However, she is still learning, and gets incredibly upset when she makes a mistake, even though her fathers' are very understanding. When USPS isn't delivering mail, she often flies about and makes deliveries not only to the clan, but to neighboring clans as well. |
