Helios

A lone Mirror is an uncommon sight. Those who saw Helios wandering across the Shifting Expanse might have thought it odd that he wasn't traveling with a pack.

He hadn't expected to meet any other dragons, let alone a bold - and rather inquisitive - Fae.

"State your business," he growled.

"I live here," the Fae said as she flitted about. Despite her monotone voice (and his inability to read her body language), he thought he could almost hear... amusement? "What brings you here?"

Perplexed by the unusually confident Fae, Helios stayed for hours conversing with her - learning that her name was Andromeda, and that she was attempting to start her own clan. He never quite let his guard down, but Andromeda seemed as though she hid no ulterior motives. "If you wish, I can stay here and guard your clan until you are well-established. I have nowhere else to go and nothing else to do."

"Guard? Hmm... Why not? I suppose so," Andromeda said. "But... you don't have anywhere else to go? No pack to go home to?"

"No," Helios said, and left it at that.

Though it was originally going to be temporary, Helios eventually asked if he could become a member of Andromeda's clan. She accepted, having grown fond of him and having gotten to know him. Helios himself had also grown fond of Andromeda. Despite their differences, they are now inseparable.

Helios's stern, gruff demeanor may make him seem unwelcoming. He is actually quite welcoming toward other dragons - he's simply not very sociable, and sees no point in wasting his words when actions can better portray something.

He regards every new dragon with suspicion, but is willing to give everyone a chance. You only get one, though. Attack him or his clan, or betray him in any way, and you lose that chance. He still refuses to speak of what happened to his pack - or if he even had one in the first place.
