Backstory: At a young age Mohandas dreamed eagerly of exploring the lands of Sornieth with the excitement of a newborn hatchling. He eagerly awaited with boundless excitement for the day he could fly off into the sunset and see the world. On the day he was to set off and take his leave a thick cascade of storm clouds ominously blanketed the sky. Mohandas despite the warning refused to wait a moment longer and took to the sky after waiting for his parents to fall asleep hoping the get ahead of the storm before it hit. Sadly before he could get past the thick clouds the thunder began to roar but Mohandas was determined and refused to head back. Sadly his bravery fell to foolishness as he was suddenly struck with a stray bolt of lightning that hit his rain soaked wings. The flash was so bright it nearly blinded him as he spiraled down into the thick shadowy murk and crashed into the ground. His body screamed out in pain as he collapsed to the ground. When he came to he attempted to fly only to his horror came to realize that his first flight had now become the last he'd ever have. Forlorn and heartbroken he headed into the woods to grief his broken wings. He had met a coven of dragon lurking in the woods who took pity on him and attempted to help him fix his broken wings only to realize to their dismay they could not. Thankful for their effort but still saddened he headed further into the woods they had tried to warn him but he was gone before he could fully hear their words of caution. He came across and abandoned laboratory in his half blinded state. Reading the notes he decided to try to use the power of alchemy to try to fix his wings. Sadly due to his vision not working so well he misread some of the ingredients and made the wrong potion. As he gulped it down the young skydancer dragon suddenly felt disoriented and collapsed.

When he came to he quickly realized his wings were still broken but now he had another problem. He was having a harder time moving and had to strain himself to do so. Confused he tried to gaze at his reflection mistaking it for another dragon. Upon realizing the Bogsneak staring back at him was himself he panicked and attempted to try to reverse the transformation only to make the wrong potion yet again making the world turn black. The others upon finding Mohandas found a young Bogsneak weeping in despair at having lost not only his ability to fly and his own body but his sight as well he felt completely helpless. Unsure of what to do they guided him to the witches of Rosenwood's Grand witches to ask for consultation. He was then taken to a place where he was given a different form of sight as the ability to see beauty in the world was what he treasured more than the ability to fly. With his strange new form of sight his senses adjusted to his blindness and he decided he would provide safe haven to others like himself and headed back to the cliffside where he began setting up to lie in wait for those who would become his fellow clanmates. For many many years he waited till the loneliness nearly drove him mad. He occasionally received visits from the Nightly Hollows who'd often come to check in on him as he had over time become friends with their leader. When he learned of others like himself he insisted upon them being brought to his safe haven to help form a kinship of elders who would help him watch over the clan.
