Biography
Ethinu
Mate: Lianaka/Heliodor (consenting poly relationship)
Clan of Origin: Unknown
Role: Zoologist, Demi-hermit, "The Weird One"
Biography
Ethinu isn't quite a true hermit, but he spends little time amongst the rest of his clan, preferring instead to wander in the dark depths of the Gladekeeper's lands and study the forest and its inhabitants. Ethinu found that his search ended in the clan-grounds, where he felt compelled to protect the natural ecosystem and the creatures that are a part of it. His clan-mates refer to him (affectionately, mind) as "The Weird One" in the clan, because he has spent so much time among animals that he uses much the same body language as the small critters that he interacts with so frequently.
Despite his odd and eccentric nature, Ethinu eventually (through much trial and error) found himself a mate who accepted -perhaps even appreciated- his unusual quirks. He and Lianaka had a few hiccups to begin with, but eventually worked out a system that suited them both and their relationship only became all the more stable when they welcomed a third member, Heliodor, into their midst. With Heliodor and Lianaka keeping one another company in the day-to-day and Ethinu regularly visiting the two with new knowledge and stories to share, the trio seem to be deeply happy with the arrangement. Ethinu and Heliodor have a tendency to bicker from time to time over who has the best ideas for Lianaka's hatchday and other such menial things, but are otherwise very close and Lianaka is good at keeping them in line.
