Son of a Siren and the Kraken.
The opal in his skin enchants all who see it, making him the center of attention wherever he goes. His piercing green gaze draws people to the water, toward the shimmering blue waves. His darkened face melts into the sea, his wings like seafoam as he swims. Those who see him are subject to his whim. He could destroy with a look, alas he is a playful thing. Not a dangerous bone lies in his body. He pulls sailors and beachgoers into the water, just for fun. Because seeing them fall in makes for a good laugh. He isnt really out to save others. Or to destroy them. Just to be appreciated. And the stories of the "trickster of the sea" definitely give that to him.

Utami is a graceful mer. She glides through the waves with unrivaled ease, a song in her voice and smile on her face. She plays with passing ships, leading them to safe waters, and splashing sailors with water. She'll leap from the water to glide alongside them, sometimes. Skimming the surface before diving down again. As a glimmering mer, Utami feels a need for a pack. She wanders the ocean looking for more like herself, a clan or ship to call home. Wrapped with seaweed, she'll climb ashore and call to passing dragons, asking if she can join them. Eventually, one will respond. |
