Mairwen has a very serious demeanor. She tends to intimidate hatchlings when they come in for routine checkups, leading to her not being very well liked among them. Once they get older, however, they tend to appreciate her no-nonsense personality because they often are healed faster.

She wasn't always like this, though. When she was younger, she was chipper and sweet. Then, she witnessed a massacre at the hands of a rival clan. The damage was severe, and she had to watch valued members die in her arms because she simply didn't know what to do. This event changed her, and she vowed to never let anyone die as a result of her inexperience. To this day, she will have night terrors of her friends dying and her watching helplessly from the sidelines.

When she isn't fixing up reckless hatchlings, she's studying medicine. Arisa often begs her to take a tea break so she doesn't pass out from exhaustion. Her favourite tea is Darjeeling, so if you want to thank her for healing you, then buying her some will be your best bet.
