Meika

Meika was born in the Southern Icefield where she had a lot of siblings. She was close to her father but she had a more distant relationship with her mother who had difficulties to assume both her role of warrior and mother. However, Meika had a peaceful childhood full of joices, at least until her father decided to leave the clan and enrolled in the Icewarden’s army. Meika lived this event like an abandonment and as she became a young lady her relationship with her mother got even worse because Myrina couldn’t understand that her daughter simply didn’t want to become a warrior but take care of hatchlings.

That was with these issues that Meika decided to leave her birthclan and decided to move to the Scared wasteland where she quickly found a new clan to establish. The leader of the clan of the decaying sun, the Witty Knight, was a clever guardian who instantly saw in Meika the guardian she was and she easily found her place in the lair as the goverant and hatchling keeper of the clan. The guardian even helped her to forgive her mother with his wise words who helped her to understand that a mirror couldn’t understand what was her charge. She made friends, and things leading to another, she soon encountered a seductive magical knight with whom she got engaged. Meika's dream of a great family was about to become a reality, but her husband didn’t see their life in the same way… to be fairly honest, Arkel’s will was extremely different to Meika’s and what started as a romantic love story slowly became hard to endure. She somehow succeeded in convincing Arkel to have a first nest, but as he promised, he never got attached to his children, leaving Meika more affected by the situation day after day. They got an other nest, and it was all the same.

But, during a trip to the lair of an allied clan, she met another guardian, Nekronimicon, who was the modest grave digger of the Clan of the Dead Stag. Something in this young man striked Meika’s hearth and the more time they spent together the more Meika’s feeling grew for him. One night, before she had to come back to her own lair, he declared his love to her… and she left unraged! How could he do that while she was married to an important man, how could he do that while she had a family to take care of?! But after some days, she realised that she was not angry at him, but she was furious about herself because SHE WAS in love with this simple man despite all the things that should prevent her from doing so. Listening only to her bravery and her hearth, she came back to Arkel and exposed him to the situation: their love story was finished months ago, and their marriage couldn't make them happy. She split up and asked their clan Leader to cancel their marriage. Surprisingly Arkel didn’t seem to be angry or mad at her… they stayed friends for some time, until their relationship faded away and they both turned a page.
After that, Meika raised their children by herself, while Nekronomikon visited her in her clan as often he can do… all the excuses were good enough! and they married tgether. After some years of this distant relationship, Meika laid a new nest and she was both happy to see her mate being so proud to be a father but so sad to realise that he couldn't be with them and she would, again, raise her children alone.

Finally, it was a great pandemic in the clan of the decaying sun who gave her the opportunity to move along. Because she wasn’t a plague dragon, her safety wasn’t guaranteed and The Witty Knight asked her to leave the clan and to take refuge in his most important allied clan… the clan of the Dead Stag. Meika was the happiest dragon in Sornieth, after so long years she was about to live in the same clan as her husband! They shared their joy during 3 nights, but after that Nekronomikon revealed to her that this clan was not the one they needed to establish together. The clan had strange rules concerning younglings and she learned that the hatchlings weren't raised by their parents but by dragons who were in charge of them. For Meika, it was unthinkable to let someone else raise the fruct of their love… and they finally decided to desert the clan.

After a dangerous walk in the scarred wasteland, they finally cross the walk of a small clan who was searching for new dragons to get unroled. Meika found back her previous job as government and hatchlings keeper, Nekronomikon his own, but they both get the opportunity to develop their magical abilities and start studies about strange phenomenal activities. However, they are now free to live, breed and raise their descendants together until death would split them apart.
