Mirage

Daily Activities: Creating different illusions for higher ups in other clans

When Mirage was a hatchling he would never believe that he belonged to his parents. How could he be a Shadow dragon with a Wind mother, a Plague father, and Lightning siblings. Little did he know about the effect of deities when he was young but determined to find his "real parents" he sneaked away from home at a very young age.

It was very hard trying to live on his own and escape beastclans and other things that wanted to harm him. One day while running away from a herd of Centaur's he hid behind a rock and thought he was done for. He wished and hoped with all that he had that he would not be found, but soon enough the enemy's head poked around the corner. To his surprise the centaur didn't see him even though he looked directly at or well through him. Mirage had somehow turned invisible. He didn't know how he had obtained or activated this power, but his life got much easier after that day.

As he grew older he still lived by himself. He realized how foolish he was when he was young to not believe his parents. But at this point he had left and there was no turning back now. He soon figured out how to use his power more and more. Now he could not only turn invisible but he could also create illusions. With this he would use it to trick prey and predators and sometimes the nearby dragon clan so he could steal supplies. Plus the occasional prank couldn't hurt either and it kept him very entertained since he had been living on his own for most of his life.

One day however he tricked the wrong group of dragons. Soul and Grace left on an escort mission to pick up an individual. Mirage thought it would be hilarious if the two dragons got scared by a Disoriented Spirit. Little did he know that Soul was such a good fighter and quickly realized the large create was not even real and quickly tracked down Mirage. His tricks put to an end he was held prisoner by Shadowbinder for a good while at Galeguard.

His only light in Shadowbinder's darkness was that surprisingly Grace, one of the dragons he tried to scare originally, would come and visit him. He was unsure why but Grace would stop by at least every other day and ask about his illusion magic. To not get in anymore trouble and because it was better than doing nothing Mirage would conjure whatever Grace wanted. She often asked for fancy displays and not living things which he was not as used to making but with a little direction of what the objects looked like he was able to make them.

Weeks of being captured turned to a few months before Galeguard decided what to do with Mirage. Grace had apparently been talking to Nightwatcher and Staz and saying how usuful Mirage would be to her to make the area appear more fancy for the guests or even impress them magical displays. Nightwatcher did not care for magic but she trusted Grace and Shadowbinder confirmed that Mirage wasn't able to do much damage to the clan even if he wanted to. With that in mind Nightwatcher let Mirage be free as long as he helped out the clan and Grace whenever needed. He gladdly accepted these terms happy to be free again.

It wasn't the best situation to join a clan but over time Mirage found Galeguard to be his home he never had. He usually is with Grace conguring whatever she desires to impress other leaders or higher ups. With his shadow heart he still finds time to trick other dragons inGaleguard. He finds it amusing and usually does not get caught , but if he does he's caught by friends who laugh about it afterwards rather than a dragon who wants revenge or takes him as a prisoner.
