1. A Rocky Start
I started my travels out on the Reedcleft Ascent, though the area I traveled through was rather blank. At last, I came to the only lair in miles. I floated down, but a Guardian stopped me mid-flight. Continue your travels, he said. I cannot make you do anything, but it is not safe for you here. But I told him it would be all right. Begrudgingly, he took me down to see the lair.
I couldn't see much wrong with it, to tell you the truth. Just a Clan very loyal to their Queen and her Court of Five. After a while, he decided it was time to head out and find a new Clan to stay with. But the Queen objected. She wanted Tabai to stay and train to become a warrior to the Clan. Mickey, the Guardian, said that she was becoming ever crazier ever since another traveler had stayed. A prophetess had seen visions of the traveler becoming a great warrior, yet he had escaped before he could do so. So Chrysoberyl the Queen was doing everything in her power to make sure that error doesn't happen again. Ever.
I didn't want to become a warrior, so with the Guardian's help, I snuck out one night. Thankfully nobody had any visions about me, not that I know of.
2. A Strange Clan
I was wandering the Wispwillow Grove when suddenly a coatl materialized out of nowhere. At first frightened, then perplexed, I decided to accept her offer to stay in her clan for some time. It turns out that this clan has a fine balance between two lineages, Dusk and Dawn. They all had different powers, but one lineage was granted power by the Shadowbinder, while the other was granted power by the Lightweaver. The coatls of the two lineages were highly loyal to those within their own lineage, and had a grudging respect for those who were in the other lineage. As such, I spent most of my time observing these two lineages. When it came time for me to set off on my own adventure, I was eager to see if any other clans had other special powers like this one.
3. A Stop at Home
After a few delightful weeks, Tabai went on to travel to another lair. That's when he noticed that his way would lead right through the Tangled Woods, where he would meet his own clan. Excited, he flew faster, until, one night, he landed in his old home. There, he discovered that the clan had grown a lot since he started traveling, but most of it was still the same. He also noticed that Kaleia and Sora, two beautiful females who both tried to kill him, were still inhabitants of this lair. His heart sank a little, but he still had a good time at home.
