Turner was originally meant to be temporary hired muscle for one of Eileen's treasure hunting escapades, but she liked him so much, she decided to keep him.
He's a complete idiot and doesn't know anything about treasure or ancient historic artifacts or whatever, but he knows how to beat things up and how to follow orders and he can use the pickaxe real good!

Eileen is kind of weird and confusing and likes to dress him and stuff but..
Turner figures it's never a bad thing to have a steady income, right?
It's a good opportunity for him.
And he kind of likes that Eileen pays attention to him even if it's not always positive attention..?
He also likes how she always smells like dusty leather
and how she laughs when she finds something good
and he likes how, when she gets tired and makes him carry her, her feathers feel really soft and bouncy..

and the sex stuff is nice too.
