Skein of Silky Yarn 		Somewhere in the middle of the Scarred Wastelands, an exhausted courier noticed a lonely hatchling playing with some shattered bones while she was resting. That courier was Lacustrine. The hatching, Annabelle lived in isolation with her family. Her parents caught a fatal disease soon after her hatching, which is pretty ironic for Plague dragons. Lacustrine's good nature demanded she do something about this poor, lost hatchling, so she took Annabelle back to her own home, the village of Auminthina, back when they lived in the sunshine.

The simple village was very accepting at the time, Lacustrine brought her up as her own. Alongside Crystal, her actual daughter. She trained Annabelle as a courier, and took her all across Sornieth. Crystal got jealous, she was never allowed to even leave the village!

It is up for dispute whether it was curiosity or jealousy that lead Crystal to following Annabelle out of the old village. But either way, Crystal exposed Annabelle's wrong doings, and was praised for her effort.

Theft on that scale was certainly an offence. It was so bad that even Fletcher of all dragons agreed that she is to be banished. A hatchling. Banished. Lacustrine was just a lowly courier, and not even Annabelle's real mother, she had no say in that decision.

She's come a long way from that. With more respect, and a daughter to be proud of, Lacustrine's life has been better than ever.
