yes, I sold Bean because no one wanted to take him off my hands for free, so I turned to the AH. He originates from my (AwkwardAngel's) lair, and you can feel free to do whatever you want with him.
Hey. My name's Angel. I figured since Bean can't even read this, I'll put in a few notes.
He's very small and precious. I'm his older sister, and if you hurt him, I will call down the Arcanist's wrath upon you. Now that that's out of the way, time to transcribe his words into his log book...
"Stellon is my birth clan. I love it here! My mama and dad are both really nice, but I think I like my sister more (awww). The Queen is fair and just, and her King is supportive and kind. Her daughter will make a great leader one day, I think!
While I was here, I made friends with the other hatchlings and went to the School of the Arcanist, which is led by Headmistress Prism. She's really smart, but she can be scary sometimes. Avyn and Spiros taught me a few tricks to defend myself and Pann gave me some wisdom. What was it...? Oh right! Look fetching and the world will love you. I wonder what fetching means...
Anyhow, I'm already bored of this place. Even Winfred's wacky experiments can't keep me interested anymore. I just want to find a new clan to explore!"

Clan Three: TheAetherwood Garrison Veldspire Guild
Haha! I guess I should introduce myself. Heya, the name's Vylas! I'm writing this cause this little guy, Bean came up to me and asked if I could help him write a log for his stay here since he isn't able to and how can I say no to a little guy like him? Mom would be pretty disappointed if I did especially since she took me in when I was little and abandoned out in the snow, though I guess it wasn't mom who originally found me it was two knights by the names of Eckhart and Mihile as to quote mom "Those two boys are perfect for each other though they're both opposites of each other they both care for the same thing. Mihile's been trying to get Eckhart to open up to others than just him. Oh! Geez, I got distracted rambling on. Hey Bean, what do ya want me to write for ya?
"I like watching the snow when it falls! Oh and its really really fun traveling around and meeting so many different dragons. Its also really fun hearing their stories, but I can't help but really really miss everyone mama and dad as well, but more then all of them I really really really miss my sister. I hope I get to see them soon, but I don't want to give up traveling cause its fun.
Mister Vylas is really funny and nice he sometimes acts like he's a spy and calls himself Master Spy V, its really funny to watch him act out different things.
But I don't know if he could become an actor because it sound like he's going to be the leader of this clan some day, he'd be a really great leader and a lot of dragons ask him questions for help. It seems like it gets tough for him sometimes though, he's just gotta be cheered on and cheered up. I'll cheer for him!
I guess I should go soon, though. Hehehehe! Him and my sister might get along! *Yawns* I'm sweepy though... I'm gonna rest up a little before I leave."
That's all he had to say, haha it must be great to have siblings. Anyways I hope this little guy has a safe and fun journey I'll sure miss him when he's gone. I've never actually been able to become friends with any of the travelers before him. Anyhow, have fun little Bean and safe travels I hope I get to see you again sometime.

Clan Four: Myura's Camp
Greetings! My name is Kylithen , and I'm a travelling mage, as well a white-furred Imperial much like little Bean here. We happened to cross paths with each other here in the Light territory, and as I feared for the safety of such a small child, I decided to take him under my wing for the next leg of our travels together. Our trek through the Sunbeam Ruins brought us to a large, cluttered encampment in the Hewn City's outskirts, which turned out to be the temporary home of a Light clan; their leader was collaborating with a magically-inclined mute Tundra to purify some of the Shade energies imbuing the area. I offered them entertainment in the form of magic tricks in exchange for shelter for me and little Bean, and the weary dragons heartily accepted. A performance or two to lighten the mood was sorely needed.
And so, that turned out to be how we spent our next month! Smoke and Myura would set out into the encroaching darkness early in the morning, and would return late in the evening to be regaled by my Shadow magic. Bean took an intense liking to the light show I put on, and eager to try it out for himself, began to practice with his own Arcane magic! He would spit tiny little magenta stars into the air, and shower any surrounding dragons with prickling sparks as he flapped his wings. Clearly his magic will never advance beyond the skill of a child, but still, what he can do right now is quite impressive.
Despite the aid we gave these tired dragons, though, it became apparent to me that the ever ravenous Bean and I were using up the clan's precious food and resources. Giving them a fond farewell, this baby Imperial and I moved on from the Hewn City. It may be the end of this chapter of our adventure, but it's certainly not the end for the two of us travelling together!

Clan Five: Clan Whispers of Music
Their next stop was a clan in the windswept plateau that seemed as a party that went on forever. Always celebrating something whether it be a world-wide holiday or a simple birthday or even just to celebrate. Music was a constant echo in the air as well as laughter and chatter. Dragons were always coming in and out of the clan, travelers, traders, rescues, and everyone here was different from the next. I stayed a while with Kylithen (probably a lot longer than we had originally intended, but it was nice to be in a place that gave us such a safe feeling and gave me time to work on my book and Kylithen time to work on his spells.
Clan Eight: Veldspire Guild
Greetings, I'm Revec I'm a traveler just like Bean is, however in my case I travel with My Lady Runeia. This small little guy walked up to me and asked if I could help him write a entry in his journal since his friend he's been traveling with has fallen into despair. Here's what he asked me to write.
I was really happy to come back to this Snowy place and Revec's puppetry is really cool to watch, but Kylithen doesn't seem to like being here, I thought this was his home? Isn't everyone happy to come home? Though I think something's bothering him, he keeps mumbling two names over and over again. I wonder what it is, I don't like seeing him sad and when he's sad he can't teach me magic...
Maybe when we leave he could tell me what's wrong or maybe he'll feel better hopefully, I don't like him being sad...
That's what he asked me to write, I guess I'm better at writing than I am speaking. Oh well, I hope his travels are safe and his friend feels better soon.

Bean is the smallest, most precious, most innocent dragon that anyone could ever hope to meet. His strange trait of immortality made him quite a marvel of the clan. No one could figure out why he was born with everlasting youth, akin to how no one could figure out why his sister, Angel, was born with her strange, mirror-based mind-reading powers. Perhaps their parents are hiding something from the rest of the clan... Bean's novelty soon wore off as the scientists and magicians that had flooded the clan to study him left, frustrated by the fact that there was no cause to why Bean is immortal. He just is. Like the sky is blue and the grass is green, Bean is immortal. Unlike Pann, who looks like a child but has the mind of an adult, Bean never grew out of his childlike habits. He's a hatchling, through and through. One can even find him literally chasing butterflies. Seriously, he's everyone's precious cinnamon roll. One day, Bean told Angel, who had become a mother of sorts for him, that he wanted to explore the world. She had her own reservations but ultimately decided that it would be good for the young hatchling to get out and explore the world. After all, who would close their doors to an adorable dragon that couldn't even write his own logs? With a spring in his step and a fervor in his flapping, Bean travels from clan to clan, hoping that one day, he might visit every region. He doesn't like staying in one place for too long, preferring to stay on the road and discover more dragons. In fact, he might grow distant and sad if someone keeps the poor child for too long. As long as the road is dashing away beneath his feet and new faces greet his eyes, a joyous, uncontrolled smile will burst on his face. And isn't that what we all want? |
