Irving

Uh-oh, looks like this little Sky hatchling wandered a little too far from his home lair (324767, Modell), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him/her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

IceOtter (246320) gbot13 - Barely hours after birth, Irving was swept up in a courier's bag and ferried to the Shifting Expanse. When he emerged along with a crate of apparel, it was decided that he would remain with the Cerauno Clan until he was an adult.

Tourmaline's Motel - After he came of age, he decided to take a quick stop at a little motel called Tourmaline's Motel in the middle of the Reedcleft Ascent. The dragons there all seemed welcoming of him, and he quickly made himself at home among the small but dedicated group of dragons. He seemed to become attached to one named Mickey the most, and the two laughed, they talked, they played together, both new adults.

But time passed, and the Guardian seemed to be less... well, jovial, than his normal self. So one day Irving decided to take him privately and query about how his friend was feeling. He told Irving everything that was going on-- how his elder sister was plotting to turn the simple motel into a cruel, evil Clan. After he let it all out, he advised Irving to never, ever come near the group of dragons again, Clan or Motel, until he said so.

Instead of using a harpy, as usual to send messages, Mickey sent him with a Rainbow Sprite. "Stay safe," Mickey warned, his final message to the Skydancer for a while.

The Twisting Crescendo - While he wondered how Mickey was doing, there was currently no way to know, so Irving kept moving around until he settled down in a certain Wind clan. His last experience made him wary, but this clan seemed peaceful and without hidden desires to overturn the way it was led. There were some other travelers welcomed alongside him, and he spent a few weeks mingling.

There was a particular Pearlcatcher girl that stayed in his mind for a while even after he left the clan. She was a proclaimed seer and despite not quite wanting to, he felt drawn to ask her about his friend. Whether it was true or not, Mickey was supposedly still alive and well, his clan still unchanged. A sigh of relief escaped him and he packed his things to keep on moving. Perhaps it was time to try and contact his friend.
