Adula
Fae Translator and Mediator
Emotion and Body Language Expert Adula is quite a bit more expressive than most Fae. This has made her perfect for translating emotion and body language between Fae and non-Fae dragons when the necessity arises. She is still incapable of translating Coatl, but does her best with other species. The mimicry of Nocturnes especially interests her and she enjoys spending time with the Nocturne of the clan. She loves to learn about how others express themselves individually as well and acts as Tabitha's assistant in mediating inter-clan disputes. Adula's a genuine sweetheart which leaves many members of the clan to ponder how she ended up with Talon. While Talon does try to hide his less than kind behavior around Adula, many speculate it's their love of fun that binds the two together. Adula wants to please everyone around her and will often do things detrimental to herself in order to do so. Talon - despite his selfish nature - often takes her place in tasks he deems too dangerous or undignified for her rather than see her take them on herself. Adula is hyper, easily excitable, a little naive, and a lot optimistic. She loves to play aerial games with other Fae and lives with them in a Nocturne-hidden Fae roost within the larger lair. The camouflage job was requested by several of her roost-mates who like their privacy, but Adula finds it hard not to reveal the secret to other dragons. (Adula is based on a stitchpunk OC from the movie 9. In her original incarnation she was a mechanical doll imbued with a piece of human soul. She and her brother Talon were a side show circus act before all humans were eliminated.) |
