Ebony

The clan needed some variety and sent out a call for new dragons. There was Ebony, looking for a new home. A magnificent midnight shadow dragon. Sadira was happy to see someone from her homeland, because though she loved her new home, she did miss the closeness of a dark world. While Ebony wasn't interested in battle and clan protection or even having many clutches she was happy to play auntie to Sadira's hordes of hatchlings,and they soon became good friends. Refugees from shadow in a crazy whirlwind clan.

Over time Ebony gathered more and more hatchlings from busy parents and became the minder of the clan creche. Now she is always seen covered in hatchlings. They love her despite the fact she resembles the Shadowbinder a little, in fact her glowing bulb is comforting to little ones that have to spend the night. They can always see her and know she is there for them.

Being an imperial means she is large enough to take tiny young dragons down through the Crescendo to the Zephyr Steppes where they can learn to fly in the gentle breezes, watched over by Peacekeepers.
