Verity

Verity is part of an...interesting family. Her mother is a Fae and her mentor in the art of divining. She never knew her Pearlcatcher father, though she owes her genes and breed to him. Now she has two half-siblings, born to a Fae mother from another clan, but sharing the same father as her, and thus are Pearlcatchers. And her half-siblings, Emilia and Igor, have a half-sister of their own!

Needless to say, Verity really only interacts with her mother and sometimes Bazyl. All of these confusing relations make her slightly uncomfortable. Her favorite excuse for not spending time with Emilia and Twili is that she's too busy with her training. It's also her excuse for not being interested in any of the males in the clan. She is very diligent in her training, to the point where even her mother will often have to nag her to relax once in a while. She does feel guilty about not spending more time with her family, but she hasn't quite figured out how to go about interacting with them.
