Biography
Corriyth Allae
Inquisitor • Mage • Dalish Elf
![34980091_350.png 34980091_350.png](https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/349801/34980091_350.png)
Corriyth was born to city elf parents. A twin, to a brother. The children were seen as bad luck for their simultaneous birth and the chaos of their home, and so Corriyth was taken away by her mother one night, and laid down in the thick forest far to the east of her home - in secret. Her brother would remain with the family, and she, left to whatever fate found her.
This turned out to be the Dalish elves, who found her on the third day of her abandonment - surely close to the end. Rescued, brought back to health and raised with them, she grew up knowing the forests and the aravels, the halla and the rivers. She was content, until, as a child, her powers came to surface - killing a clanmate in their arrival. Distraught and afraid of herself, Corriyth grew inward, choosing to stay alone in the clan, spending her time wandering through the trees or staring into the distance - her only comfort coming from the only elf who dared approach her - Ivranis. Her only friend in her self-isolation, he understood and helped her- being the one to craft her bracelets that rarely left her wrists, and years later, the neck band she wore.
When age came of her, Corriyth left only a year after gaining her Vallaslin - setting out to find her peace. But all that changed as she swiftly was taken down by the prejudices of the people in the shem lands. With no skill to her name, Corriyth joined an army - hoping to prove something. Determined and finding her intelligence was set for logical work and tactics, Corriyth grew up the ranks despite her race, reaching a branch of commanding. Attending the Divine Conclave as a guest of the Templars, with the intention of working alongside them as a party between the intelligence and the mages, she found herself among the chaos and lost, knowing only the aftermath, having to rebuild.
The title of Inquisitor was not one she was keen to take - an elf before humans was not something accepted quickly - or keenly, but with the aid of Ivranis, her old friend, and Cullen - the only other who understood her so well, and the first she felt safe to love - she grew both confidence and contentedness in her position. Her story continues, but where to is yet to be known.
