Biography
Iauges (pronounced ee-AW-gehz)
The Voracious they call her, and indeed she will eat anything. A dead dragon is just another meat. What made them an individual does not exist once the life is gone from the body. It might even still hang around after the separation, but the body itself has nothing more to offer than itself as sustenance. Iauges will not eat anything still living, and, as a hunter, she gives her prey the mercy of a swift and unexpected death.
The Seer they call her, for her treatises on life and death, the before and after, and the mysteries of the arcane. Her subterranean slumbers are full of dreams, horrors and glories separate and together, her nightly shiftings and vocalizations a cacophony of sound her clan has long since acclimated itself to. She speaks to the dead and the not-yet-born, proclaims doom and good fortune in the same breath.
Some say she is being punished for her unholy treatment of the dead, others that this is a sign of her connection to the Arcanist, that if she ever exalts, the knowledge that courses through her now in such a disruptive fashion will be able to find a better home in her expanded capacities.
