Thelj

Thelj has become the honourary architect of the Jazara clan's lair. He's proud of his scale colour resembling a low burning flame, which burns blue and hottest in the fire.
He is however, firmly in denial about the fact that his name means "snow" or "ice". When questioned, he gumbles it's a nickname given to him by Valjeta because his scales reminded her of a more frosty complexion.
Valjeta kindly confirms this, but rumour from the other Ice dragons in the lair is they know his paternal great-grandmother is an Ice Coatl, and she's the one to have come up with the name, and his parents had little opportunity to object, out of respect.

From the Ashfall Waste he brings the experience of hard work and manufacturing the terrain around him as he sees fit.
As a result, he's been known to be incredibly restless, constantly pacing around the lair looking for flaws or ways to improve his work.

Due to similar interests, he's often seen wandering with Leishen, his love for tunneling and excavating comes in handy when Thelj needs brute force to expand their lair. Leishen isn't interested in the details, he just looks for the opportunity to burrow.
Thelj is incredibly prideful of his work, and has a painful attention to detail. He's quick to anger if questioned about the details of it; he perceives it as possible criticism or a general waste of time. Consequently he can be incredibly impatient, and usually has Valjeta to calm him down.

Thelj is the fire to Valjeta's ice, both forming a ponderously harmoneous balance. His passion for his work inspires Valjeta to persue her own interests and becomes more outgoing, and she in turn (attempts to) teach him patience and reason with others in the clan.
