Born illegitimate half-royal, this girl and her siblings were, along with their mother, sequestered away at the behest of their father, the Premier of Guild in the illustrious city of Thorim Rift. They knew their mother at the early stage after their hatch-date, but never once laid eyes on their father. It was with a regretful but understanding heart that their mother sent them away, each with a token from her. Mirari is the middle child of her siblings, the only girl with her two brothers, and the quietest. But that doesn't mean she's the most well-behaved. Skilled with machines, she seems to have a magic touch, able to in a way speak with them, find their cracks and grinds, and fix them. On the other hand, she's also pretty decent with people as well, always ready with a smirk and a quip. Unlike her brothers, she actually finds out exactly who her father is--but doesn't care. He lives a life she wants no part of, but his city? That's another story. It's a marvel of the Expanse that any machine junkie like herself would loath to miss. She wound up well south of her hometown in a place called Torque, hidden away from better society as the perfect den of thieves and all manner of lowlifes. Mirari wasted little time, though, in finding safety--or as much as one can in such an environment. That haven, as it were, became Captain Riviel of the airship Silverbird. A legend the Captain was, even back home in Thorim Rift, for his success in stealing the ship right out from the shipyards once it was completed. He hired her on as a mechanic, and has his eyes on her ever since. She's yet to decide if that's gonna wind up being a good thing, or a very bad one down the line.
