Dragons that know Proginoskes speak very highly of his bedside manner. His serene, competent presence can quiet even the most panicked patients, and it is clear he genuinely cares about those he treats.

Proginoskes is a healer extraordinaire who has mastered both the natural and arcane medicines. An expert spellcaster, over many years of practice he has learned to harness other elements besides his own, combining them in novel and useful ways. More warlike members of the Winterguard have tried to turn him into a battlemage, but he is firmly on the side of 'do no harm'. That being said, he can handle himself when called to act as a battlefield surgeon.

He evades questions about his own history, so no one is really sure where he comes from. While he looks and acts like a young dragon, some of his off-handed comments suggest that he has been here a startlingly long time...though no one knows for sure.
