Aletheia is.. An odd one. She isn't mean or cruel, just a bit naive. And she can't lie. This has gotten her into quite the trouble.There are those who like her, their own little oddball, but she has made some enemies with her blunt honesty.

ABOUT

The spitting image of her mother, Aletheia camouflages easily within the Whispering Forest, decorated with petal-like markings and wings resembling that of a butterfly. As if in protest to her natural roots, she covers herself in beautiful star-shaped jewels, soft iridescent silks draped over her leather wings. Her tail is adorned with a delicate bell, one of her first handmade works as an apprentice.

Aletheia has always had a keen eye for gems and delicate handiwork, collecting precious stones as a hatchling and making crude jewelry for her siblings. Once she was ready to set out on her own, she took up an apprenticeship as a gemmaker. After years of rigorous training and odd jobs, Aletheia became a master goldsmith.

Settling down in the Whispering Forest without her mate was daunting and bittersweet, but she and her children were welcomed with open arms. Daffodil was the first to befriend her, though it has led to be quite a dangerous combination. The coatl’s love for gossip and Aletheia’s inability to lie tends to let many a secret or off-hand remark slip during their times spent together. This has gotten the naïve pearlcatcher into trouble over the years, but everyone knows she doesn’t do it on purpose (and no one would dare challenge Daffodil, the Queen of Secrets, herself.) She is also good friends with Fate and Redara, who love to help and promote her latest creations.

When Aletheia isn’t working, she takes long strolls with her sweetheart, Thrasos, through the Blooming Grove.
