Biography

Dario - General
A minor council of dragons hunched before him in a darkened tavern room, representatives of various groupings of townsdragons. Dario's astute mind immediately recognized the sharp features of the skydancer who owned a popular restaurant on Market Street, alongside the mottled ridgeback who owned a clothing shop nearby - a favorite of Queen Hafina's. These faces were only a few of the dragons elected to attend the monthly meeting pertaining to the inner workings of the market. As per usual, Dario was sent in place of his king who had tasks of greater importance to attend - a standard routine between the two of them. He listened with rapt attention that another might find impossible in the face of monotonous reports of profit and taxes, taking note of any fluctuations or abnormalities. Anything of note would either be sent promptly to the king or added to the growing pile of tasks upon his own desk. Hard work and menial tasks had to be done by someone, and Dario is always the drake to do it.

Dario is a drake of simple fashion who as the right-hand dragon to King Vitas, finds himself performing many tasks the king has no time for, helping to ease the burden of running a kingdom. Such tasks vary from minor meetings that offend nobody should the king not personally attend to ensuring reports from all the sectors are accounted for and due taxes are in on time. Often he acts as a proxy, becoming the stand-in ruler during King Vitas' absences on diplomatic endeavors outside of the kingdom. Whenever he can manage to squeeze it into his busy schedule, Dario assists Queen Hafina and her team of event planners with upcoming events, becoming the bridge of professional communication between her and her husband, who both lead busy lives and see little of each other during a working day.
