Biography

The Garden Guardian

Jumanji is a brute of a Snapper. He stands in the clan's gardens as still as a statue, protecting the plantlife in and around the territory. So long are his watchful shifts, that vines will grow up his legs and down his back and come to blossom.

He is a fearsome warrior, and has shocking speed when a monster is detected in the territory. A large some of would-be attackers have been dispatched by Jumanji. Thanks to this, he has a personal hoard of failed weapons, treasures, and "trophies," some of which he'll wear to further intimidate would-be attackers.

Jumanji is not entirely welcoming of new dragons visiting or joining the Lupine clan. He only becomes comfortable and accepting of newcomers after he is allowed to do an odd ceremony, which involves kicking mud on the dragon and then sharing a meal of roasted gourds and roots, before soaking silently in one of the forest springs. Once the newly clean (and probably perturbed) dragon dries off, they are allowed to light Jumanji's jack-o'-lanterns, and offer a flower to his Sprouting Goblin. When his familiar accepts the flower, Jumanji accepts the dragon as an ally. (Otherwise, they should just stay away from him, and definitely not harvest or forage where he keeps watch.)
