'Pet'

Unlike Tracer's normal playthings, the Pet, as he's become known, appears to have escaped his mistress's mercurial moods - even if his gems are untouched, and some even shine, as if they have been polished. The wraps are snug, the blindfold covers no ugly scars, and the copper trinkets are of a correct size. They could easily be removed if desired.

Perhaps the scars are mental; attempts to address the skydancer as male (or female) are met with blank confusion, as is the idea of removing the gifts his mistress has to kindly bestowed upon him.

...Including the name, though as of his first nest with her, Tracer seems to have granted him a proper name. It seems he's here to stay, and he's rarely far from her side.
