Biography
Have you ever experienced such elusive mystery, such taunting inquisitiveness you could not help but lean closer, open a set of prying eyes?
This was the expression founded by Carya, who, being a Skydancer ready to sacrifice anything for his mysterious business, knew better than anyone that touch of curiosity, like talons of ice in a flame. He meddled with poisons, with the rare forms of magic that dared journey the earth. His thoughts ran in a practical sense, but this did not stop him where conversation was required. He spoke effectively, with little emotion, and rarely exhibited humor.
A shell was how to describe him most accurate. Empty, with his insides scoured. For with no emotion came the escape and relief of not having too explain anything concerning his internal thoughts. These thoughts, scarce and fleeting, darted about his head like jellyfish, inconsistent. Mostly they would be about his exploits, though none too notable. They conquered his mind like nothing else could, predictions of what was in stock for his business, calculations of recent orders, etc.
However a shell he was, he was also known for his unique findings. He was dominant in his brain, and this left him extremely weak where all physical features were concerned. The strength he exhibited was limited, as was his charm. His mind, however, that was a different story. His ability to predict was extraordinary. He did not have friends, or even many dragons who bothered to approach him after work. A cold remark was enough to keep them away, permanently, from his shop, Some things he hosted were creatures, vials full of an unknown liquid, G1s he may or may not have captured, and the like. One G1, however, had managed to escape.
This G1 was large but not strong. He was little in personality but interesting all the same. The others looked up to him as a leader, with faith he would be set free. He did not own a thing, not even a name.
It was a dark and cloudless sky. He was filled with potential anger, ready to snap at any moment. He knew he would not do anything but he was little of care. At that moment, his thoughts expanded to encompass fantasies, actions rather than talk. These thoughts transferred to reality. The hatchling escaped independently.
Carya was filled with indifference. He knew he had still more hatchlings to sell. Worry did not often taint his heart but now, its poison spread slightly beyond it’s carefully designed limits. He did not do a thing. But his mind still wandered with the occasional what if.
