It is clear that Mara is a newcomer to the clan. Everything from her clear green eyes to her bright shimmering color set her apart. There was much muttering when one of the clan elders delivered her, a squirming whelp, and deposited her before her new clanmates. They must have appeared a fearsome sight - all dark colors, savage faces.

Mara has a kind soul - something that is not exactly welcome in this den of darkness. Despite her young age, she has a tendency to mother everyone. Even those her senior have succumbed to being cared for by the kindly pink dragoness. Her simple, unconditional love sets her apart from the clan, as well as making her a target. The backstabbing and feral nature of the dragons frighten her.

Seeking to escape one day, she wandered far - and encountered Magnus, doing something that was nearly forbidden. From there, their story grew...
