Badili was rescued by his caretaker and Familiar, Askali, from his former clan who were preparing him for a sacrificial occult ritual. The young Bogsneak is afflicted with some form of curse that, when in stressful situations, causes violent transformations into a voracious and volatile beast. He himself does not know the extent of his affliction, as Askari has kept the details secret from him to preserve his childhood. The Longneck scholar works tirelessly with the other academics in Elsewhere to find a solution to Badili's condition. No cure has been found as of yet.
