Lathyrus melted away before adulthood even took its roots in him. His parents lead humble lives, that much he knew. He also knew from the day he could hold a hammer in his hands that their gifts were not passed down to him. Rather than be angry, he was sad; his parents were good dragons. What did that make him. His goodbyes were hollow. Both his parents were used to children leaving, but Lathyrus was a good boy. They wished that he would stay. Lathyrus found himself outside the Boneyard after all. He ended up in a rundown shack of an inn, one that promised glory and gold for a dragon that did not have much of either. Lathyrus was a good dragon, but he crumbled under the pressure, and accepted his first contract as a thief. It was on that first job that he found the magic within. Under stress, or with very little concentration, Lathyrus could turn himself into a cloud. A mist of toxic gas that killed anything from outside the Plaguelands. Lathyrus was a good dragon. He did not mean for anyone to die. |

Demure in nature, Lathyrus is not one to make a fuss about his ability. In fact, he is rather ashamed of it, and the only ones who he discloses it to are contractors. He hates himself quite a bit for doing what he does, but it pays his way for now. He hopes to find somewhere where he never has to liquefy ever again. He is a kind dragon, and killing and stealing hurts his heart in a way he's not sure will ever heal. He distrusts most dragons, for he is used to being used and exploited. His loyalty comes slowly, but once it is there it is there for life, He is quite nervous, and has been living with anxiety for quite some time now. |
