Ignoring the comments calling her Shade-touched, she wanders the world, appearing from the shadows themselves, and selling mysterious objects of various magical properties. A sword that steals souls perhaps? A potion said to extend life, but with a terrible cost? Or maybe a necklace that whispers the thoughts of those around it? Pick carefully, only one item per customer. They tell newcomers to not buy her wares, or to fall for her silver-tipped tongue, ignore her calls to come closer. For you see, you do not simply pay for these objects with coin, you will pay with your memories and sense of self. Give up that ring from your mother, and forget it ever belonged to you, stare in confusion as you hold a bottle, and hear the haunting sound of laughter as the merchant leaves.
